Oh how time can pass by so quickly when you're all wrapped up in school, work and no there's time for play....I can't believe its been almost a month since my last update.  Well, not much has happened within that time frame. Thanksgiving break was enjoyable aside from the fact that this week on monday I had a powerpoint presentation to give and today I had a term paper due.  Now that all that is over with I can somewhat sit back and begin getting ready for finals.

I have finals on monday, wednesday, and thursday of December 12-15th.  And then I will be home free for about 3 weeks to visit family and friends.  Friday, December 16th, I leave at around 8am or so on a plane to visit my cousin Robin and her family in St. Louis.  I won't be back until the 22nd.  I'm hoping that a few people will be in town up in Cookeville the weekend of New Year's. I planning to visit Dec. 31st-Jan. 3rd. If you will be in town and want to hang out I would love to see ya...just give me a call. That's all I have for now!

Well lets see, Monday I started the day off with a bang! When I got to school that morning I went over to the library first, then I came out and unlocked my trunk to get my umbrella out. I accidently set my car keys down inside and then shut the trunk. Now, what was I to do? All of my books were inside my car and I had 30min until my first class. I called my dad and then went to class without anything. Luckily my dad arrived with the spare key only 15min after class had begun. I was very thankful!  I can't wait until next week on Thursday because after class at 930am, I will be on my way to Cookevlle for the night! If you want to hang out just give me a call that day. I'm off to class and then work until 7pm. See you guys next week.

The career path in my life has taken a full 360 degree turn. I started back to school on the 22nd and during that first week I realized at this point in my life I needed to take a different route. Monday, Aug. 29th came and I went to school several hours early to talk with 2 different teachers. I spoke with Dr. Smart to see if I was eligible to graduate this December with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, and after running a check of all my classes, he stated that this was possible. Then, he sent me to talk with Sr. Martha Ann, the Director of Education. I began to explain my situation to her and showed her that I had mapped out the classes I needed to take in order to get a Teacher Ed degree by either December 2006 or May 2007. She, too, stated this sounded like a good plan.

Of course being the second week of classes I had already missed the Drop/Add date but after pulling some strings the school was able to revise my schedule into what I needed to take for my new teaching degree. After I graduate in either 2006/2007, I plan to work for awhile to pay off school loans. If in the near future I decide nursing is still the road I wish to take I can attend Vanderbilt and get a Master's Degree as a Nurse practitioner...that will take 1 maybe 2 years. Anyways, Friday I leave for Key West for my brother's wedding...not only am I a bridesmaid but I am so excited for him!! Good Luck to OPA and SigEp with Rush....wish I was able to make it! I Miss You Guys
